KX Robot Feeder

The new 100% automatic KX ROBOT FEEDER

The KX Robot Feeder is the new partner of the KX Tube Fillers, which was previewed at Interpack 2023 last May.

It perfectly meets the needs of productivity and automation by ensuring the loading of plastic, metal or laminated tubes directly from their box into the Citus Kalix tube filling machines.

Combining the historical expertise of Citus Kalix with state-of-the-art technology, the new KX Robot Feeder is perfectly compatible with the current KX fillers as well as with the previous generations up to 110 tubes per minute.

Many advantages for an ideal robotic loading solution:

Easy to use
The KX Robot feeder is controlled directly by the HMI of the filler (in the standard version) or by its own HMI in its autonomous version. The settings of the robot according to the format are registered as a recipe.
To carry out a full changeover it’s very simple! After selecting the recipe, simply replace the only size part (the gripper) without tools and adjust the last three manual adjustment points according to the sizes of the box and tubes.

Ergonomics
It is designed with an adapted positioning of the robot to facilitate format changeover. The loading and unloading conveyor are also ergonomically designed at a height of 860 mm from the floor to ensure operator comfort.

Flexibility
The KX Robot Feeder can be installed on both new and old version of KX machines.
This allows you to benefit from its advantages regardless of the generation of your equipment. Moreover, the self-supporting frame of the KX Robot does not require any fixation on the floor to facilitate its positioning.

Increased autonomy
Depending on your needs, it can provide autonomy from 3 to 12 boxes of tubes.
In standard carpet configuration with infeed conveyor, it can handle up to 6 boxes, but it is also possible to opt for an optional stockage tower, allowing a maximum capacity of 12 boxes.
